💥 💥 Anniversary 💥 💥

It was a year ago today that I did my first “Journal” post on Fat Secret. I had been on Fat Secret for 6 years, but, I never made a journal post.

I went on to drop 40 pounds over 4 months mostly by ‘water fasting’:

🌟 April [208lbs-195lbs] : 528kcal (Fat: 27.19g, Protein: 27.45g, Carbs: 47.44g)
🌟 May [194lbs-188lbs] : 551kcal (Fat: 25.63g, Protein: 23.44g, Carbs: 60.27g)
🌟 June [188lbs-177lbs] : 585kcal (Fat: 28.99g, Protein: 33.04g, Carbs: 46.91g)
🌟 July [177lbs-167lbs] : 797kcal (Fat: 50.53g, Protein: 59.97g, Carbs: 28.35g)

So, yeah I lost it fast. People said that if I lose fast I will gain the weight back fast. They say that because they know that when you stop the diet, if you return to eating the way you were before the diet, you will gain the weight back. they feel that ‘learning to eat better’ will work out better in the long run.

I said screw that, lose as fast as possible, so that I stay ‘motivated’, and then switched to not eating solid food during the week to keep from gaining it back.

A note about my numbers. If I kept my carbs lower I could have doubled my calories and lost weight faster. Keto works. Keeps the carbs AND protein low and have as much fat as you can stand. My calories were only as low as they were because I was fasting so much.

And now I am back to ‘water fasting’… well, for perhaps only a day. Let’s see how long I can last. For me, ‘water fasting’ is all about motivation. When I was obese, and finally starting to lose weight, I was motivated to go through the mental depravation of not eating (for me it is all mental, my body only needs electrolytes (through a supplement), and a small amount of water to ‘survive’).

Happy fs journal anniversary!!! Yeah a lot of people may chime in for different reason but at least they are trying to help for the most part. Wow look at that graph. So wonderful that you beat obesity.
