Good morning!

Another day with an impressive drop in weight. This brings me to three kilos in two days!

It just shows how fast it'll build up (and come down) when I do wrong (and right).

Yesterday, still no sugar. I actually lost count of how many days, it's really not that important.

I feel that I have a better focus on things - yesterday (and Monday) I had no urges for sweets, really. Yesterday I did feel like something to snack on, but not necessarily sweet. I felt like something flavorful. I didn't want anything to knock the calorie count up, so I went with a little licorice hard candy. They're only 8 calories. They're super tasty too!

It hit the spot, and I moved on.

Earlier in the day, I bad a bad taste for sugar though. Then I remembered my own class the day before, and went into tapping mode. It worked, as it always does. I gotta remember to do this.

It's strange - I have this great ability to find techniques that work, implement them, get going with them, and then after a while they kinda fizz out and I forget all about them. I wonder why that is? Do we all do that?

Anyways, the tapping is great. It works. Not only on cravings, but every kind of stress, fear and urges - whatever you focus on. I can not recommend this enough.

I have talked to people who stopped smoking, drinking, stopped their fear of flying, and other things. It's pretty impressive. And all this because of a "silly" little exercise. How neat!

I've been off the "whites" (white bread, regular pasta, potatoes and rice) for a few days. I actually feel better, physically, and I am sure this is what is promoting my weight loss other than of course simply doing what I'm supposed to do.

It feels great to be on the right track, and I'm gonna hold on to this feeling of accomplishment. It's a lot easier to do right when you have a feeling that you're gonna screw up if you do NOT do right. Right?

Today will be a reasonably quiet day. I have a couple of meetings at work, a ton of paperwork and assessments to do. It's gonna be a nice, quiet day I think.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Another nice drop in weight. I'm on my way back to where I really want to be. Below 80.
- Morning Coffee. Went to sleep too late. Goddamn neighbor fighting with her daughter.
- A quiet day at work.

Happy Wednesday to all! Life is good!

Wow! I have not been keeping up with your journals lately but I can immediately tell there is a change in tone. You sound confident and on top of things. Way to go! It seems like you have really taken a turn on this recovery process. How exciting!

It's been bothering me that I've been slipping. My weight graph clearly shows what's going on, and I can't have that sitting on me. Time to do something. :)

Hi Kingkeld! What is this 'tapping' of which you speak? I'm really curious! Thanks!

Tapping; seems silly at first, but works well! Do a search for it; tapping, EFT, etc.
