I’m talking science. Not beliefs. I’ve got a whole different argument if you want to talk beliefs.

"The Truth: Fears about red meat causing cancer are vastly exaggerated. Making healthy lifestyle choices (such as eating a balanced diet rich in whole foods, staying at a healthy weight, exercising, and not smoking) is overall more important than micromanaging your intake of red meat. Still, if you plan to eat less red meat, start with the kind that has been cured, smoked, or highly processed." < From the link. Noone here is eating so much of it to be a concern. Hell, I only have it once or twice a month but thats because I am lazy and eat a lot of prepackaged foods.

But the keto folk who eat bacon and sausage daily may want to rethink it.

The poison is in the dose. Just like with some sweeteners. If you drink several 24 packs of soda a day aspartame may be dangerous. Anything can be bad in excess, even water.

Oh geez, I just saw your post about Gamechangers on Netflix. That movie has been debunked a hundred times over. Vegan propaganda.

So... I eat red meat maybe 7-8 times a week... About 8-10 pounds a week... 🤔 How much is "excess"?

“It’s in the dose” is like saying it’s okay to smoke cigarettes sometimes because you won’t overdo it. While you might not overdo it, it’s knowingly causing damage.

Also “Vegan propaganda”? What about the propaganda of the meat and dairy industry? What better way to justify inhumanity than to claim it is not only necessary but healthy for you?

@FatFaucet: I am a huge fan of eating lots of plants and still eat over 80% plant, but I assure you that after sometime your body will eventually be screaming to be fed some animal flesh/products.
It is totally natural for the human body and I have had many years of experience with veganism.
I wish you luck on your journey and the key is balance.

You're fine yo ho yoooo, that's the type of propaganda I'm talking about comparing nicotine to meat, awesome.

That's not propaganda meat is healthy in moderation, it has key vitamins that you'll be deficient in if you ate straight vegan. There's a reason why vegans have to supplement vitamins. Same thing goes for carnivores. That's why I'm an equal-opportunity eater. Like the Bruce Lee of diets. I'll take a little of everything and a couple donuts on top.

My blood panel and the mirror seem to say I'm doing just fine. 😁

^What Chris said. I think you're fine if you have it before as it takes a while to digest so your muscle protein synthesis will be elevated for a while and most people don't workout for 1.5-2 hours like I do.

Carbs is bad for you. - depend from diet and your goal. For me - bad.

First statement is wrong. Second is half wrong or at least not explained, what goal? And the third is a personal issue.

Wrong becose keto. Goal - be active, not increase musculs.

In other words, you're on a diet that omits a macronutrient so you need to avoid carbs but your statement that "Carbs is bad for you." is wrong.
