Add more fat by replacing the Miracle Whip with real mayo or seasoned sour cream. You can add chives, garlic, pepper, salt and a dash of lemon juice or vinegar to sour cream and it makes a wonderful dressing.

But there's no 'tangy zip' in mayo lol

LOL Ever since I was a kid, I have hated Miracle Whip...I love mayo though. What if you add something to it, like franks hot sauce or something? Maybe that will add that "zip" you are looking for! lol

Klynn82 Great, Leaves more Miracle Whip for me, I hate mayo too bland. Each to her own, ha!

@BleuFront, yes, you can have all the miracle whip!! haha I think because my grandmother put it on EVERYTHING, I just cannot stand it. She would mix it in pudding...blech!!!

@Klynn82 Ha ha! Even I would draw the line at putting Miracle Whip in pudding, but my Mom used to put it in chocolate cake. Actually that wasn't as horrible as it sounds. It's hard to ruin chocolate anything.

Oh I remember mayonnaise being used in cake mixes. When you think about it, mayonnaise is oils, eggs, so makes a really moist cake. Using mayonnaise in brownie mix is to die for! Lol Just use instead of oil.

@Chow moore Oh... brownies! I must be craving chocolate, AGAIN. Bought one of those stevia sweetened bars from Lilly's that someone posted the other day. Found it at Publix Supermarket. Took it home and broke it into pieces, then ate onevtiny square and promptly stuck it in the freezer to help hide the temptation. Amazing how loud chocolate can be hidden away in the freezer behind the frozen broccoli and chicken.

Definitely the world is spit into two distinct camps, mayo vs. miracle whip. Ex and i shoulda known right there and then... I'm in camp mayo so i am no help on this one. Can you add cheese?

I was raised with miracle whip so I'm definitely in that camp. That sweet tang beats out mayo for me.

I don't know what that is a picture of so I can't suggest ways to add fat that will help. But I do love miracle whip but if you are on a keto diet and you have that is the recipe I would use mayo it is no carb if you have the right one

I don't get the need to add more calories if you like it as is.

Diablo360x, with LCHF/keto, it's important to maintain a calorie deficit if one wants/needs to lose weight. However, maintaining a ketosis-supporting balance of macronutrients -- maximizing fats, minimizing carbs, and moderating protein -- is key.

I'm insulin resistant and most days i try to eat in such a way that i am satisfied between meals and my macros are such that my blood sugar(and insulin) do not spike. Those are my reasons for wanting to add fat.
